C1 = color 1
C2 = color 2
with C1; ch to desired length
Row 1: with C2; hdc across
Row 2: with C1; ch 1, (hdc in front loops only of prev. hdc row, and
in un-used loops of beg. ch) across
Row 3: with C2; ch 1, (hdc in front loops only of prev. hdc row, and
in un-used loops of prev. row of same color
rep Row 3 alternating colors, until desired width
Final Row: working through 2 loops as in prev. rows, sc across
DO NOT finish off.
tie yarn tails in small groups (2 - 4) and trim to equal length to form
fringe.
