Project Linus Afghan

Project Linus is a Nation-wide organization with international affiliates. The goal is to bring handmade security blankets to terminally ill infants, children, and adolescents. These may be quilts, knitted or crocheted afghans, almost anything.

Here's a really easy pattern for a carseat-sized/security blanket.

materials:

2 - 7 oz. skeins Red Heart Baby Soft -- nursery
1 - 7 oz. skein Red Heart Baby Soft -- white
size "G" hook

pattern:

afghan:

with nursery, crochet a simple, 40 round granny square

border:

with white
Rnd 1: sc around with 3 sc in ea corner ch-sp
Rnd 2: dc around with 3 dc in ea corner st
