size "I" hook
3 - 12 oz. skeins of Holly & Ivy

notes:

the ends of the piece will overlap. the piece will not lay flat - this is to create a ruffle
do not join the rounds, turns as if they were afghan rows
after Rnd 6, stitches change from hdc to dc this is not a mistake

special instructions:

post dc - post stitch double crochet - yo, insert hook before dc in prev. row, bring hook up on other side of stitch post, yo, draw up a loop, (yo, draw through 2 loops) twice
post sc - post stitch single crochet - yo, insert hook before dc in prev. row, bring hook up on other side of stitch post, yo, draw up a loop, yo, draw through 2 loops
