4 Leaf Clover Doily

materials:

Size “0” steel hook
White size “10” crochet thread
Kelly Green size “10” crochet thread

pattern:

With green,
Chain 4, join with slip stitch to form ring
Rnd. 1:  (chain 10, single crochet in ring) 4 times
Rnd 2:  work (3 single crochet, 3 double crochet, 3 treble  crochet, chain 1, 3 treble crochet, 3 double crochet, 3 single crochet) in each loop of previous round
Finish off

With white,
Rnd 3:  join with double crochet to any chain-1 space in the end of a leaf, (2 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in same space, chain 12, * (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in next chain-1 space, chain 12, repeat from * around, join with slip stitch to 1st double crochet
Rnd 4:  slip stitch in each of next 2 double crochet, slip stitch in chain-1 space, chain 3, (2 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in same space, chain 20, * (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in next chain-1 space, chain 20, repeat from * around, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain
Rnd 5:  slip stitch in each of next 2 double crochet, slip stitch in chain-1 space, chain 3, (2 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in same space, chain 12, (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in middle of chain-20 loop, chain 12, * (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in next chain-1 space, chain 12, (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) chain 12, repeat from * around, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain
Rnd 6:  slip stitch in each of next 2 double crochet, slip stitch in chain-1 space, chain 3, (2 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in same space, chain 8, (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in chain-12 space, chain 8, (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in chain-1 space, continue in this manner around, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain
Rnd 7:  slip stitch in each of next 2 double crochet, slip stitch in chain-1 space, chain 3, (2 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in same space, (3 double crochet, chain 1, 6 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in chain-8 space, (3 double crochet, chain 1, 3 double crochet) in chain 1 space, continue around, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain 

Finish off, weave in ends, and block as desired.

optional border:

With green,
Join with single crochet to any stitch in Rnd 7, single crochet in each single crochet and chain-space around, join with slip stitch to 1st single crochet
Finish off.

Block as necessary to keep shape.
