size "J" hook

pattern:

chain 7, slip stitch to form ring
Rnd 1: slip stitch in ring, chain 3, 2 double crochet in ring, chain 3, (3 double crochet in ring, chain 3) 3x, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain
Rnd 2: slip stitch in each double crochet and in chain-space, (chain 3, 2 double crochet, chain 3, 2 double crochet) in same chain-space, chain 3, * (3 double crochet, chain 3. 3 double crochet) in next chain-space, chain 3, repeat from * 2x, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain
Rnd 3: chain 1, half double crochet in same st and in next 2 double crochet, * 5 half double crochet in corner chain-3, half double crochet in each double crochet, 3 half double crochet in chain-space, half double crochet in each double crochet, repeat from * 2x, 5 half double crochet in corner chain-3, half double crochet in each double crochet, 3 half double crochet in chain-space, join with slip stitch to 1st half double crochet
Rnd 4: chain 3, * double crochet in each half double crochet to corner, 3 double crochet in corner half double crochet, repeat from * 3x, double crochet in each half double crochet to beginning chain, slip stitch in 3rd beginning chain
finish off
