Daisy Chain Coaster

materials:

size "10" thread in a floral color
size "1" hook

notes:

flowers could also be connected in a straight line to make a border

pattern:

1st Motif:
Rnd 1: chain 2, 6 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, join with slip stitch
Rnd 2: chain 9, single crochet, (chain 8, single crochet) in each single crochet around including same stitch as initial chain, join with slip stitch to 2nd beginning chain
Rnd 3: chain 1, (4 single crochet, chain 3, 4 single crochet) in each chain-loop around, join with slip stitch to 1st single crochet
Finish off.

2nd - 5th Motif:
Rnd 1 & 2: work the same as 1st Motif
Rnd 3: chain 1, 4 single crochet in 1st loop, single crochet in any chain-3 loop of previous motif, 4 single crochet in same loop on current motif, 4 single crochet in next loop, single crochet in next loop of previous motif, 4 single crochet in same loop on current motif, finish Rnd 3 the same as first motif
Finish off
See photo for placement of motifs 3-5.

6th Motif:
Work same as previous motif, but connect to both previous motif and 1st motif, using photo for placement
Finish off.
Weave in ends.

Block as necessary to keep shape.
