Coats Button Craft Dual Duty Plus Thread (less than one spool) - roughly equal
to size 20 or 30 crochet thread
Chain 5, join with slip stitch to form ring
Rnd 1: slip stitch in ring, chain 1, 12 single crochet in ring, join with
slip stitch to 1st single crochet
Rnd 2: chain 5, (double crochet, chain 2) in each single crochet around, join
with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain; 12 chain-spaces
Rnd 3: slip stitch in
each chain-space,
chain 1, 3 single crochet in same chain-space and in each chain-space around, join
with slip stitch to 1st single crochet
Rnd 4: chain 5, (double crochet, chain 2) in each single crochet around, join
with slip stitch to 3rd beginning chain; 36 chain-spaces
Rnd 5-6: slip stitch in chain-space, chain 5, (double crochet, chain 2)
in each chain-space around, join with slip stitch to 3rd beginning

Rnd 7: slip stitch in chain-space, chain 1, 3 single crochet in same
chain-space and in each chain-space around,
join with slip stitch to 1st single crochet; 108 single crochet
