And you want to hit the wall and yell...
Here's a little dammit doll
That you can't do without.
Just grasp it firmly by the legs

materials:

size "G" hook
small amounts of: dark brown, flesh tone, red, white
small amount of fiber-fil
tapestry or yarn needle

notes:

-colors are only suggestions, these are referred to in pattern, but you may use any color you wish
-unless otherwise directed, always work in both loops
-decrease (dec) - draw up a loop in ea of next sts, yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook

pattern:

legs: (make 2)

with dark brown, ch 5
Rnd 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 2, 3 sc in last ch, sc in un-used loop of next 2 ch, 2 sc in last un-used loop, join w/ sl st to 1st sc
Rnd 2: ch 1, sc in ea sc around, join w/ sl st in 1st sc
Rnd 3: ch 1, sc in same st, sc in next 3 sts, sk next 4 sts, sc in last 4 sts (changing to white in last sc), join w/ sl st to 1st sc; 8 sc
Rnd 4: ch 1, sc in same st and in ea sc around, join w/ sl st to 1st sc
Rnd 5: ch 1, sc in same st and in ea sc around (changing to flesh tone in last sc), join w/ sl st to 1st sc
Rnd 6-10: ch 1, sc in same st and in ea sc around, join w/ sl st to 1st sc
finish off

Rnd 1: with flesh tone - ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join w/ sl st to 1st sc

skirt:

Rnd 3: draw up white w/ sl st in next ch-sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in ea ch-sp around, join w/ sl st to 1st sc-do not cut white!
Rnd 4: sl st in next ch-sp - drawing up red, ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in ea ch-sp around, join w/ sl st to 1st sc
Rnd 5: sl st in next ch-sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in ea ch-sp around, join w/ sl st to 1st sc

weave in ends

details:

-with white, satin stitch on tops of feet to close holes and make shoes look like Mary Jane's
-with dark brown, stitch face. French knots for eyes, straight stitch for mouth (or 2-3 to make smile)
-Hair: tie 18 lengths (approx. 7") of dark brown together with fat knot in center
-stuff doll
-weave tail left on head through last Rnd to form drawstring
-fold hair at knot, and place knot in opening at top of head.
-pull drawstring tight
-tie and finish off
-divide hair in half and use red yarn to attach to sides of head in pigtails
-weave in ends
